Four of Howie Marketing and Consulting (HMC) clients won seven Westchester County Youth Bureau awards ranging from $30,000-$45,000 a year for three years. That's $855,000 secured for the YWCA White Plains & Central Westchester, Teatown Lake reservations, YMCA of Central & Northern Westchester and Lifting Up Westchester. Congratulations all!
In four years, Howie Marketing and Consulting (HMC) has had eight Impact 100 Westchester quarterfinalists, four semifinalists and four finalists (Teatown Lake Reservation, Gilda's Club Westchester, Songcatchers and Westchester Exceptional Childrens School), each winning $12,000+. In 2016, Latino U College Access was awarded one of their $100,000 grand prizes. Congratulations all!
Gilda’s Club Westchester received $290,000 from the Kahn Foundation in support of their Comprehensive Support Services (counseling, support groups and workshop) Program and Caregiver Program, and to launch a new Teen Counseling and Coping Skills Training Program.
Congratulations to three Howie Marketing & Consulting clients for winning NYS Nonprofit Infrastructure Capital Investment Program grants. Lifting Up Westchester won $174,583 for a technology upgrade, the Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester won $500,000 for a roof, and the YMCA of Central and Northern Westchester won $1,000,000 for a roof. At the 2017 Grant Professonals Association's Conference in San Diego on November 11, 2017, Lydia spoke to a packed crowd on Vetting for Success: Grant Seeking Skills. She provided the audience of over 100 tips on how to review potential funders effectively whereby increasing the likelihood of their grants being funded.
